Building stronger communities

Our primary goal is to empower individuals, strengthen families, reduce barriers, and build an inclusive, united, and prosperous community.

We Serve the People

Shagar Community Association is an Edmonton-based nonprofit supporting immigrants, refugees, newcomers, youth, women, children, seniors, unemployed individuals, low-income families, and vulnerable members of society. We believe every individual deserves dignity, respect, and equal opportunities.

Welcome to Shagar Community Association. We are committed to serving our community, connecting people with opportunities, and helping individuals and families access the resources and services they need. Together, we can build a stronger and more supportive community.
